The site plan for the Carp Road landfill expansion has been approved by City of Ottawa staff.

The next step in the municipal process is to lift a “zoning hold provision” associated with the site plan. In a nutshell, zoning was approved in July 2014 but with a holding condition that couldn’t be lifted until certain conditions were met in the site plan. (More background here.)
That’s being considered by the City’s Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee on Thursday November 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. atBen Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive.
